Anserimimus planinychus

†Anserimimus planinychus was an ornithomimosaur herbivore of the Late Cretaceous, discovered in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia. Reaching approximately 3m in length and weighing around 50kg, it had distinctive flat-clawed forelimbs, unlike the more curved claws of other ornithomimids. Described by Barsbold in 1988, it was likely a swift runner inhabiting open floodplains.
