Dahalokely tokana

†Dahalokely tokana ('lonely small bandit') is an extinct abelisauroid theropod from the Late Cretaceous of Madagascar. Estimated at 3–4 m in length, this carnivore predates the better-known Majungasaurus by several million years. Its discovery significantly extends the record of abelisauroids on the island of Madagascar during the Cretaceous.
