† Igai semkhu — a Late Cretaceous titanosaur sauropod from the Dakhla Formation of the Western Desert, Egypt. Large herbivore; named for an Egyptian deity. One of the few Late Cretaceous sauropods known from Egypt. Contributes to the poorly documented African titanosaur fauna during the latest Cre.

The final age of dinosaurs, featuring iconic species like Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Velociraptor. Dinosaurs reached their peak diversity before the catastrophic asteroid impact at the Chicxulub crater ended the Mesozoic Era.
