Amitabha urbsinterdictensis

Amitabha urbsinterdictensis

†Amitabha urbsinterdictensis was a therizinosaur theropod from the Late Cretaceous (~80 Ma) of Utah, USA. A medium-sized bipedal herbivore with long hand claws, it was named by Zanno in 2010. Found in the Wahweap Formation, it helps document the diversity of North American therizinosaurs — a group of herbivorous theropods more commonly known from Asia that also colonized Laramidia.
