† Kotasaurus yamanpalliensis was an Early Jurassic sauropodomorph from India, among the oldest known sauropods. Discovered in Telangana's Kota Formation, it shows transitional features between basal sauropodomorphs and true sauropods, with remains of at least 12 individuals found together.
