† Tyrannosauripus is an ichnogenus of tyrannosauroid footprints from Early Cretaceous China, representing the trackways of large bipedal carnivores. These early tracks demonstrate that tyrannosauroid-grade theropods were already large-bodied in the Early Cretaceous.

Tyrannosauripus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
