Aiolornis incredibilis was a giant extinct condor-like bird (family Teratornithidae) from the Pleistocene (~1 Ma) of California, USA. With an estimated wingspan of ~5m, it was one of the largest flying birds ever. A carnivore/scavenger, it hunted and scavenged large Pleistocene mammals. It went extinct at the end of the Pleistocene along with its megafaunal prey.
