Condorraptor currumili

Condorraptor currumili

† A large carnivorous theropod from the Early Jurassic of Chubut Province, Argentina, Condorraptor currumili ('condor thief') was one of the apex predators of its time. Named with reference to the Andean condor, this tetanuran theropod provides evidence for a diverse large-bodied carnivore fauna in early Jurassic Gondwana.
