Monarcha takatsukasae is an extinct flycatcher (Monarchidae) from Micronesia. Known from subfossil bones from Pacific islands, it represents the Holocene avian diversity of small island ecosystems in the tropical western Pacific.
Diet & Feeding
Monarcha takatsukasae was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
