Nesotrochis debooyi is an extinct flightless rail (Rallidae) from the Caribbean. Known from cave deposits on multiple Antillean islands, this large ground-dwelling bird went extinct following Amerindian colonization of the Caribbean.
Diet & Feeding
Nesotrochis debooyi was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
