† Papasula abbotti costelloi was an extinct subspecies of Abbott's booby (Sulidae). A piscivorous seabird, this large sulid inhabited tropical Indian and Pacific Ocean islands. The subspecies provides biogeographic evidence of past booby distributions across oceanic island chains.
