Teracus littoralis is an extinct coastal bird from Eocene deposits of France, assigned to an extinct shorebird-like group. Its fossils contribute to the diverse avifaunal assemblage from the Eocene of western Europe.
Diet & Feeding
Teracus littoralis was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
