Uria antiqua is an extinct murre from Neogene deposits of the Netherlands, one of several fossil Uria species contributing to the alcid fossil record of the North Atlantic. These fossils document the biogeographic history of murres in European waters.
Diet & Feeding
Uria antiqua was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
