Uria onoi is an extinct murre from Miocene deposits of Japan, contributing to the fossil alcid record of the northwest Pacific Ocean. Fossil alcids from Asian Pacific sites illuminate the paleobiogeography of these diving seabirds in the Neogene.
Diet & Feeding
Uria onoi was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
