Zonerodius heliosylus (forest bittern) is a secretive, medium-sized bittern native to the lowland forests of New Guinea, including Papua New Guinea. It inhabits swampy forest interiors and is rarely observed due to its cryptic behavior and plumage.
Diet & Feeding
Zonerodius heliosylus was a meat-eating predator. Carnivorous dinosaurs were active hunters or scavengers, equipped with sharp teeth and claws for catching and consuming prey. They occupied the top of the food chain in their ecosystems.
