† Brodavis varneri was a Late Cretaceous hesperornithiform bird from the Niobrara Formation of Kansas, United States. This large toothed diving bird is named in honor of paleontologist Diomedea Varner and represents one of the larger species within the genus. It inhabited the warm, shallow waters of the Niobrara Sea during the Coniacian–Santonian and co-existed with marine reptiles.
