Oreoscoptes montanus is the Sage Thrasher, the smallest North American thrasher and the only member of its genus. It inhabits sagebrush steppe of the western US and is notable for its rich, mimicking song rivaling mockingbirds, sung throughout the day and often at night.
Diet & Feeding
Megapodius alimentum was a plant-eating dinosaur. Herbivores typically fed on ferns, cycads, conifers, and other vegetation available during their era. Many herbivorous dinosaurs developed specialized teeth and digestive systems for processing tough plant material.
