Nestor chathamensis was the Chatham Kaka, an extinct parrot from the Chatham Islands east of New Zealand. Part of the diverse prehistoric parrot fauna of New Zealand's offshore islands, it was extirpated before formal scientific description, known only from subfossil bones.
