Palaeotringa littoralis

† Palaeotringa littoralis was an extinct shorebird (Scolopacidae) from the Late Cretaceous of the United States. A carnivorous wader, it inhabited coastal mudflats of the Western Interior Seaway. Its fossils document avian diversity near the end of the Mesozoic.
