† Zhyraornis kashkarovi is a Late Cretaceous ornithuromorph bird from the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan, one of the few birds known from Central Asian Cretaceous deposits. This small bird inhabited the ancient shoreline environments of the Cretaceous Turgai Sea.
