†Anchiceratops was a large ceratopsid herbivore of the Late Cretaceous, reaching approximately 6m in length and weighing around 1,500kg. Found in Alberta, Canada, it bore a long rectangular frill adorned with paired epoccipitals and three prominent facial horns. Named by Barnum Brown in 1914, it inhabited low-lying coastal floodplains.
