Brachiosaurus altithorax

† Brachiosaurus altithorax was a Late Jurassic brachiosaurid sauropod from the Morrison Formation of Colorado, United States. One of the most iconic dinosaurs, this enormous herbivore is estimated at 20–26 m long and up to 58 tonnes. Its disproportionately long forelimbs and elevated shoulder region allowed it to browse high tree canopies unavailable to other Morrison sauropods.
