Brasilotitan nemophagus

Brasilotitan nemophagus

† Brasilotitan nemophagus was a Late Cretaceous titanosaur sauropod from the Adamantina Formation of São Paulo State, Brazil. This large herbivore is distinguished by unique features of its cranial and jaw morphology, including an unusual coronoid bone in the lower jaw not previously recorded in sauropods. It contributes to the remarkable titanosaur diversity of the South American Cretaceous.
