† A Late Cretaceous hadrosaurid dinosaur from Coahuila, Mexico, Coahuilasaurus lipani is named for the Lipan Apache people of the region. A large herbivorous ornithopod, it was recovered from the Cerro del Pueblo Formation and represents part of the diverse dinosaur fauna that inhabited the southern end of the North American continent during the Campanian.
