Enigmosaurus mongoliensis

† Enigmosaurus mongoliensis — a Late Cretaceous therizinosaur from Mongolia. Large herbivorous theropod with greatly enlarged forelimbs bearing elongated claws. The unusual pelvic anatomy (opisthocoelous vertebrae) gave it the name 'enigma lizard.' Known from partial postcranial material.
