†Allosaurus lucasi was a species of †Allosaurus from the Late Jurassic Morrison Formation of New Mexico, USA. Based on material from the Macho Creek area, it has been considered either a valid species or a synonym of †A. fragilis depending on the analysis. Named by Maddox in 1936, its taxonomic status remains under discussion as the systematics of †Allosaurus continue to be refined.
