†Aoniraptor libertatem was a megaraptoran theropod carnivore of the Late Cretaceous, discovered in Neuquén Province, Argentina. A mid-sized bipedal predator with enlarged forelimb claws, megaraptorans represent a distinctive Gondwanan predator lineage. Its species name means 'freedom' in Latin, and it contributes to the growing record of megaraptorid diversity in Patagonian Argentina.
