Bellatoripes fredlundi

Bellatoripes fredlundi

† Bellatoripes fredlundi was a Late Cretaceous ornithopod theropod ichnospecies from the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Alberta, Canada. Represented by tridactyl trackways, this carnivore's footprints document the locomotor behavior of medium-sized bipedal dinosaurs in the latest Cretaceous of Laramidia. The ichnospecies contributes to understanding predator diversity in the Horseshoe Canyon ecosystem.
