Brodavis

† Brodavis was a Late Cretaceous hesperornithiform bird from North America. These large flightless diving birds, related to Hesperornis, inhabited the Western Interior Seaway and caught fish using their toothed jaws. The genus includes multiple species and contributes to understanding the diversity and distribution of the specialized secondarily flightless aquatic birds of the Cretaceous.
