† Brodavis americanus was a Late Cretaceous hesperornithiform bird from the Bearpaw Formation of Alberta, Canada. This large toothed diving bird inhabited the northern reaches of the Western Interior Seaway during the Campanian age and is known from fragmentary hindlimb material. It represents part of the diverse hesperornithiform community that dominated aquatic predation in the Cretaceous seaway.
