Dashanpusaurus dongi

†Dashanpusaurus dongi is an extinct sauropod dinosaur from the Middle Jurassic Dashanpu Formation of Sichuan, China. Named in honor of paleontologist Dong Zhiming, this herbivore is a member of the euhelopodid lineage. Its fossils from the celebrated Dashanpu quarry contribute to understanding the remarkable sauropod diversity of Jurassic China.
