Deltadromeus

Deltadromeus

†Deltadromeus ('delta runner') is a large carnivorous theropod from the Late Cretaceous of North Africa. Estimated at ~8 m, it possessed unusually slender limbs for its size, suggesting high cursorial ability. Its classification as a noasaurid, ceratosaur, or basal tetanuran remains debated, making it one of the more enigmatic large African theropods.
