† Ulughbegsaurus uzbekistanensis is a Late Cretaceous carcharodontosaurid theropod from the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan. This large carnivore proves carcharodontosaurids persisted in Central Asia into the Late Cretaceous, coexisting with tyrannosauroids.
